2As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: 3If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious. - 1 Peter 2:2 KJV
Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, 3 now that you have tasted that the Lord is good. 1 Peter 2:2 NIV
Have you ever had a craving for something? When you wanted something sweet you ignored every one of the thousands of items in the grocery store until you found that one thing, the only thing that would satisfy your hunger. You were not going to settle for anything less; you were not going to let anything come between you and your desire. Say this out loud, 38I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:38).
Desire the sincere milk, desire the milk that is free of deceit, hypocrisy, or falseness.Desire the milk that isgenuine; real. Only Gods word is real. Only Gods word is free of deceit, hypocrisy and falseness. You can depend on Gods word. Isaiah 55: 11 - 11 so is my word that goes out my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. When God says you are healed you are healed, When God says you are delivered, you are delivered, when God says you are saved you are saved, when God says you are free, you are free indeed.
My friend, God does not just say what He has to say to us with the letters of the alphabet. He says what He has to say to us with a person. John 1 - 1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 12But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

Gods word is a person. That person is Jesus. And we are to desire Him. It’s time to seek the Lord while he may be found. You want something real seek Jesus. Are you tired of deceit, hypocrisy and lies then seek the one who has no guile in his mouth – Jesus. (To be continued)
